Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : Lets start off this AMA to give the audience a brief description of what CloudName actually is, and what are CloudName team aiming to achieve ?

CNAME token is a Utility token allowing users to advance levels platform. CNAME tokens gives owners to access to advanced tools such as Fee discounts, transactions discounts, trend prediction AI autopilot and more. To explain it simply, the $CNAME token allows domains to be tokenized or fractionalized: what does that mean? It means that if, for example, there is a domain that costs 500,000 USD, anyone can split it into 1,000 parts and buy one part. The fractionalization process basically allows anyone to access domains that would otherwise be too expensive. Imagine as if a domain were a corporation and you acquired a stake in it! In addition, $CNAME lends itself to being traded, bought, and resold!
Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : Can you share some information about the team behind CloudName, what your backgrounds are ?What is your previous experience?
Elle/Team@CloudName : Our team is composed of dedicated and trustworthy professionals, Our CEO and Co-founder Davide V. comes from Switzerland and is in crypto since 2016 — someone perhaps knows Amun and 21Shares, he was there since beginning and now rocking with Cloudname. All of our team members have been working successfully in VC, banks, crypto and tech companies for years, most of us in Switzerland, and it’s great to find so much experience concentrated in one small company.
For example, our Data Officer & Co-founder Francesco A. (also Swiss) has worked for IBM and ConsenSys. Personally, I jumped on board Cloudname a year ago, because I realized that the project was very promising, but most importantly, that the world of domains is super cool and there’s really a chance for so many people to make money!
Matthias/Team@CloudName : I am Matthias, working as Jr. Marketing Associate for Cloudname. Like the whole team I love all Web3 topics and really fell in love with the crypto world. Our founder, Davide V. was the first to inspire me to dive into it and now I am convinced of the huge potential crypto- and domain trading has. It feels great to be part of the fast development in this area, driving innovation forward every day!
Elle/Team@CloudName : My name is Leonardo, I’m an SMM of Cloudname and domain trading enthusiast! I’m a digital data expert (more commonly known as a Data nerd) and market researcher. I love innovation and that’s why meeting the world of crypto was so natural to me. I’ve known the world of domain investing for a few years and it has always intrigued me because it highlights the great power of “names” in our society. In fact, today the biggest businesses in the world use the web as a showcase, and every website must display the name of the company in the simplest, clearest and most elegant way possible. So domain name investing seemed to me a really good opportunity.
Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : Let’s take a more in-depth look at the platform itself, can you tell us about domain trading ?Tell us in brief about domain tokenization and domain fractionalization!
Elle/Team@CloudName : The world of domain trading is growing all the time, the data says so. Every day there are more and more domain traders and more and more domains in circulation, there are lots of opportunities to earn money with low risk. (For example recently the domains Deepak.eth and DeFi.eth have been sold for respectively 2.3 milion dollars and 1.2 milion dollars) This is where Cloudname was born. From the will of a group of domain enthusiasts (the Cloudname team) who want to open the possibility of earning money to ALL. In fact, Cloudname wants to democratize and decentralize domain investing, adding a multitude of services and gamification in all the process. We plan to be recognised as the world leader exchange of the Domain world! Just to give another example, before going really in depth in platfrom, I’ll tell you other domains that have been sold at a high price in the last month: yp.net — 15,256 USD, Mannequin.com for approx. 100,000 USD, Momentum.xyz for 69,888 USD. Cloudname offers all you need to start earning lots of money with trading domains! You can buy, sell, rent and even trade parts of a domain (like trading shares), thanks to tokenization. To tokenize a traditional domain Cloudname becomes an Oracle in the blockchain. Traditional domain is parked to Cloudname by transferring the ownership. Cloudname issues a certificate in the blockchain that says WHO is the owner. When owner requests to tokenize it, Cloudname issues a specific ERC-20 governance token for the domain and sets the token as the owner of the domain. Imagine as if a domain were a corporation and you acquired a stake in it! In addition, $CNAME lends itself to being traded, bought and resold!
Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : What blockchains will CloudName platform support and are there plans to deploy, move, support or bridge to other chains in the future?
Elle/Team@CloudName : We have choosen Polygon which is a L2 on ethereum allowing a secure blockchain with high transaction performance and low fees. A smart contract allows native CNAME tokens on Polygon to be bridged between the Polygon network and the Binance ecosystem enabling users to choose the DEX they prefer, CNAME will also be listed on PancakeSwap.
Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : Can you tell us about the roles of $CNAME token in the CloudName ecosystem,and the killer features of the $CNAME token? How can traders earn from CloudName platform from domain trading?
Elle/Team@CloudName : $CNAME token is essential for Cloudname Platfom. Users that owns CNAME can use specific features inside the Cloudname Platform to access analytics, fractionalize domains, trade them in the marketplace and have lower fees on multiple operations. The $CNAME token allows domains to be tokenized or fractionalized, so it allows people to earn money from domain even if they can’t afford it economically.
Matthias/Team@CloudName : These are the special features Leo talked about. The more CNAME token you own, the higher your account level and the more possibilities you have when trading.
Aryan|TGH@GEMDetectors : As we all know crypto is a huge platform and competition in crypto is increasing day by day, what’s different about CloudName, what do you offer that they don’t, that makes you withstand the market! Can you tell us about your patnerships and projects that support you!
Elle/Team@CloudName : There are several things that are unique and revolutionary about Cloudname. It’s not just that it’s the first all in one platform where you can trade domains, it’s also the first one that enables you to fractionalise domains and sell or buy just parts of it. You can also earn passive income for example through renting domains. Everybody should be able to earn money with trading domains and Cloudname makes it easy also for newbies. However, a big part of our strength is also our community, as well as our partners. Here’s an overview about some of them.
Talking about partners, it’s a pleasure to work with them and to get so much positive feedback and trust. You might know some of our partners as exchange platforms, VC and banks, they support us to finance and develop our project as well as to making it know throughout the crypto world. Our partners have a lot of experience in the world of secure and profitable investments in innovation, DeFi, and also in traditional businesses. In our calls with partners we often say the word “revolution”, no kidding. This is because what makes Cloudname unique is precisely the set of elements I described above. Cloudname turns the world of domain trading upside down, bringing a business made only for people with lots of money to everyone, experienced traders and newbies alike. The features, the user experience of the platform, the $CNAME token and the passion that our team spends every day make us unique!

Elle/Team@CloudName : Sure we have two different roadmaps, 1. general, of platform + token and features releases and 2. a roadmap of upcoming events (next days)

Elizabeth(@elizabeth14010): hello @ellepic @mghc813 @Legit_hardwork 💯💯💯💯#Cloudname#CLOUDGEM. i just heard about domain trading. and there can be to invest words, emojis. my question is is it possible to invest a pre-existing word or emoji? Or does it have to be original words and emojis?
Matthias/Team@CloudName : It can be really everything, whatever word or emoji combination you think might gain value over time. The shorter the words are, the more valuable they usually are. As for .com domains, many are already taken but there are plenty of crypto domains with a high potential value, that are not registered yet!
Maleficent(@GoodMaleficent ) : Hello 👋🏻 @ellepic @mghc813. There are different Account Levels in CloudName following Newbie, Rookie, Pro and Ninja. Can you kindly tell us what are the main differences of each.? What good features do Rookie, Pro and Ninja have so people will want to pay monthly for these? #CLOUDGEM
